Melissa earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, building on her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo.
Melissa is trained in cosmetic facial acupuncture and microneedling. As a lifelong dancer, athlete, and now an avid rock climber, she understands firsthand what it means to navigate injury and recovery. That personal experience fuels her passion for treating musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, and the use of acupuncture, cupping, and tuina to support healing. She also works extensively with neuropathies, facial palsies, and paralysis.
Women’s health is another area where Melissa brings deep experience, particularly in hormone regulation and fertility support. And as a former teacher, she has a natural ability to connect with children and teenagers—meeting them where they are, helping them understand their own autonomy in the healing process, and supporting them through challenges such as athletic pain, anxiety, headaches, digestive concerns, and sleep issues.
